Ongoing website maintenance is essential to your online business success. But most of our clients are too busy to take this on.

Updating website content and security is crucial, along with all related software and plugins. Other ongoing tasks will include:

  • Renewing licences for additional “plugins”
  • Dealing with alerts and notifications 
  • Updating appointment scheduling availability 
  • Managing restricted content

Our hosting service uses servers designed to optimise website performance.

We don’t use ‘shared hosting’ plans where your site is lumped with thousands of others. Your site will be individually and automatically adjusted to suit ongoing development and new requirements.

We liaise directly with the hosting company on your behalf so you don't need to be involved in the technicalities of keeping your site running.

Website Security

Sadly every website on the internet is susceptible to attack.

Software can have compatibility issues with inherent vulnerabilities.

We monitor everything to ensure strong security minimises the risks and add updates as soon as necessary.

All pages are "locked" with an SSL certificate and you benefit from bespoke server level protection and Cloudflare Enterprise WAF (web application firewall).

Software Updates & Backups

We monitor your website daily. We will update any plugins and core files after testing their compatibility.

You will also benefit from daily back-ups at hosting level. Additionally, we backup everything including core files and databases daily and store them remotely.

So if your site is ever down, we can quickly restore it with a non-affected copy of all data without delay.

Licences

Generally we install software or “plugins” for the following tasks: information collection forms, appointment scheduling systems, enhanced display features and for content restriction.

The premium software plugins we install (unless specifically excluded) will be fully licensed through Brilliant Little Business. The cost is included in the Perpetual Success Plan. So you don’t need to arrange and pay for renewals directly.

Where required, we have an arrangement with Complianz to provide you with a GDPR Compliance solution at preferential rates and will deploy a Privacy Notice & Cookie Solution on your site.

This allows us to keep everything updated on your website.

Whenever you need to update your site with a new blog or contact, we will upload the new information promptly.

Our Perpetual Success Plan includes up to 1 hour each month* for minor updates to keep the content current.

This time can also be used to chat with us about strategy and future requirements.
